Description of the apartment
This apartment is simply wonderful. It is a duplex situated in the upper part of a building at the Plaza Real and it disposes of a private terrace overlooking the Plaza. It is an ideal apartment to spend hours contemplating the square and the people that stroll around. The apartment is on the fourth floor of the building, which does not have a lift. On the lower floor of the duplex are the kitchen, a small living room with a single sofa bed, a complete bathroom and the access to the communal terrace. On the upper floor are the double bedroom and the access to the private terrace. The apartment has air conditioning, heating and local television.
The apartment is provided with bed linen and towels, so it will not be necessary for the guests to bring them. In the lower part of the building you will find what is probably the most authentic bar of Barcelona, the Pipa Club.
Zone description
This set of apartments are located at the most characteristic square of Barcelona, the Plaza Real. When you leave the square, you will directly find yourself on the Ramblas, where you can stroll under the Barcelona sun, and admire the great variety of stands with flowers and animals, the pittoresque human statues or simply the colourful crowd passing by. An absolute must is the city’s most authentic café, the Café de l’Opera, just opposite the Liceu Theatre. At the end of the Ramblas, you will find the port of Barcelona, where you can enjoy the best seafood and paellas (don’t forget to visit the restaurant Les 7 Portes, where they serve the best paella in Barcelona). Next to the Port, the Barcelona beaches allow you to have relaxing walks along the Mediterranean, and if the wheather permits, you can enjoy a good swim under the Barcelona sun.
Parking
This building does not have parking, however, within 5 minutes walk there is a garage where you can park your car for 42.75 Euro per day or 81.2 Euro per week.
