Description of the apartment
This is one of 4 apartments at the same building located in the centre of Barcelona, at less than one minute walk from Las Ramblas, the most famous street of Barcelona. The apartments are typical lofts in an 18th century building, totally renovated in 2005 and constantly updated. The building has a lift, uncommon in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona.
This apartment is has 40 square meters (around 430 square feet) and can accommodate up to 4 people in 2 twin beds and in 1 double sofa bed. It has a complete bathroom with shower and a totally equipped open range kitchen with microwave oven/grill, fridge freezer, a coffee machine and a kettle. Linen, towels, glasses, pots, crockery and cutlery, are all provided. The comfortable living has colour TV, DVD, radio and CD player. With air conditioning and heating, this apartment is perfect for all year round stays. In the same building there are several practically identical apartments on different floors. Although it is not common, the owner reserves the right to perform adjustments to the floor you are on (similar to a hotel).
Zone description
These apartments are located in a marvellous privileged position, 20 meters away from the remarkable Las Ramblas of Barcelona (“the only street in the world which I wish would never end” as Federico García Lorca said). Canuda street is just in the heart of the old town and less than one minute walking from Las Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya. This is the most touristic area of Barcelona, plenty of tapas bar, wine bars, restaurants and fashionable stores. El Liceu Theatre, MACBA and Palau Guell are just five minutes walking from these apartments. Also, don’t forget to visit the colourful Boqueria, the most famous market in Barcelona.
